Buying star names
Some organisations "sell" stars or name stars after persons for a fee. Occasionally,
some people ask us if they can see through our telescope the stars they have bought.
Generally, we cannot fulfill such a wish, as it is very difficult to point at a particular star
among hundreds of stars seen in the same telescopic field.
Please read the statement by the International Astronomical Union, a world-wide
organisation of professional astronomers, regarding selling and naming stars.

particular time)
2. Bright Star Atlas 2000.0 (Very handy to explore the night sky
with binoculars or small telescopes)
In addition to these, purchase a good introductory book on
astronomy which gives you the basic concepts in astronomy.
